04052012 LATE POST PART 2: Can’t You See That It’s Just Raining?

I love May rain because it’s what I’ve been wishing for the whole summer.
I love May rain because it’s not a storm, where your feet gets pushed by gushing waters in the pavement.
I love May rain because it helps me sleep.
I love May rain because of its noise, the one I’ve been waiting for since the scorching heat came in.
I love May rain because I get to stay inside our house, with some hot choco.
I love May rain because it makes me happy. 

For some reason I don’t know how, the rain during the month of May always takes away all of my misery. What made it more special was not the rainbow after it, but the sepia color that painted the whole city afterwards.

Now I realized that what I wanted for summer was not this thing I’m doing. I think I’m far better than staying indoors and doing nothing. I’m actually looking for something different.

WE ARE ALL LOOKING FOR SOMETHING OUT OF THE BOX, SOMETHING EXTRAORDINARY, SOMETHING THAT MAKES OUR DAYS DIFFERENT FROM YESTERDAY, TOMORROW, AND THE DAY AFTER.

We need to be alone not because we don’t want to make any friends. It’s because we want time for ourselves. Sometimes, being fed up thinking about someone else rather than yourself is a good thing, because it only means that you’re starting to love yourself more.

And for that, I love May rain because it reminds me of me.
